Peace on Earth, Good Will to All? - VERSION 2
Having submitted the first version of this Thought for the Week, I was asked to re-do it as, for various reasons, it was seen as a bit too hard hitting. So here, below, is the updated version...
Peace on Earth
Good Will to All?
If only the good news of great joy
people received at Christmas was:
"You are loved, so talk to me."
Rather than
"Get a large overdraft, buy more than you can afford,
and don't tell people about your debts!"

Peace:
State of Silence
or
State of Mind?
Peace on Earth
Good Will to All?
If only the good news of great joy
people received at Christmas was:
"You are loved, so talk to me."
Rather than
"Get a large overdraft, buy more than you can afford,
and don't tell people about your debts!"

Peace:
State of Silence
or
State of Mind?

So the obvious question is - what was the original post! Ah, come on, you can't tease us with a "I had to tone it down" message.
We want the truth!

Original Thought for the Week post that I had to change for FCC was the one previous to this: "Peace on Earth, Good Will to All?"

Mark Burgess,
I never knew "Peace on Earth" could be so contentious!
If you don't spread the good news to all, do we really believe it IS good news?

Hi Ranj,
I never intend Thought for the Week, or anything on my blog to cause offense, so apologies if it did; I do, however like to challenge people's thinking sometimes (my own included).
Am agreed, if we really believe in the good news, then we must not keep it to ourselves. Hopefully this extends beyond the Christmas season, too!
