There are many people who have encouraged me in this so far. I can't thank everyone, but there are a few people who I really ought to thank publicly:

David Jeanerret

David is on the same course as me (Youth & Community Work and Applied Theology), he is a whizz with computers, and is hosting this site. Apart from that, he has been extremely patient with my many questions as I try to get me head round all this site building stuff!

His site is DesignByDavid

Geoff & Margaret Medlow

During my time in Caerphilly, Geoff and Margaret showed me how needed a place of retreat is. Whenever I needed to 'get away' from it all for a day or two, or needed quiet space to focus on college work. Geoff & Margaret always had an open door. The allowed me to make a mess of their kitchen so that I could cook for friends who visited (and for them!), and whether I needed space and to be left alone, to sit in front of the TV, to talk through big issues, or to pray, they accepted me as I was and helped me along in the way I needed at the time. This only confirmed all the more that this vision for the future is definitely right.

Other household Communities

As part of my looking into this whole issue of the Community house, I will be visiting various other Christian household Communities around England and Wales. So far thanks go to the guys at Muller House in Bristol.

Andrew McCausland et al. at Lee Abbey, Devon

It was during Andy's talk on Community during my induction week at Lee Abbey back in the first week of October 1999 that I first had this concept of what is now the notion of the Anapauo Household Community. He is an inspiring man, blessed hugely by God. Andy often talks about the 'WOW!' factor - when he talks about God, Andy never fails to show this through is vocal and physical expression. The whole of Community, too, loved me through a lot, and it was because of my two and a half years in this place that I have done much of my growing and getting direction for my life.

Antonio Facciponti

Thanks go to Antonio for taking a fairly bad attempt at a logo design which I gave him, and taking the time to make it so basic, but much much better! Being Italian, he also does a great bowl of pasta!!

Others with this passion

I have spoken to many other people who have had a passion for this way of living. Even though we all have slightly different reasons why, the main focus is always on Jesus. This is the most important thing - and in speaking with others, it is made clearer and clearer that getting into the locality and 'being' a Christian is a burden God is putting on so many people's hearts. In speaking to others, I know that my passion is set even more on fire.

YAHWEH

This is the most obvious person to thank - God! Without Him, I would have no direction, inspiration, passion, burden - in fact no life. He is a good God and SO, SO worthy of our praise, and living our lives as worship to Him.
